Holdings and cost basis come from CoinGecko's public-company treasury data and update as new purchases are disclosed. The profit or loss shown is on paper only, and Strategy has said it intends to hold rather than sell. Not investment advice.

Strategy, the company formerly known as MicroStrategy and run by Michael Saylor, has reinvented itself as a giant Bitcoin holding vehicle. Since its first purchase in August 2020 it has bought Bitcoin again and again, funding the buys with cash, debt and share sales, until it became by far the largest corporate holder in the world. This page tracks how much it holds, what it paid, and whether the bet is winning.

The cards up top show the essentials: the total number of coins, the average price paid across every purchase, the total dollars invested, and what the stack is worth today. The gap between the cost and the current value is the unrealized profit or loss. The chart plots Bitcoin's price since the buying began and colours it green when price sat above the average cost and red when it slipped below, so you can see the stretches when the position was underwater.

A few things are worth keeping in mind. The profit or loss here is on paper. Strategy has repeatedly said it plans to hold rather than sell, so a red number does not mean a loss has actually been taken. The average cost keeps drifting as new purchases are added, and the holdings update as new buys are disclosed. None of this is investment advice.
